Beautiful Sophisticated Chic Classic Sleeveless Mikado A-Line Wedding Dress
The dress has a high neckline with two illusion features - one is straight down the center of the front of the bodice and one creates a V shape on the side of the bodice. Both are extremely flattering. I loved the neckline because it was extremely unique, flattering, and somehow both classic and modern at the same time. I also have a large chest and I feel like it showed off the girls without making it the only thing you see. You could easily alter the dress to fit a smaller chest. I did add different cups to the bodice because the originals were very cheap and scratchy, which was way too uncomfortable for me.
At the waistline, the dress is fitted and then it flares out down the legs, but there is also a cape on the back/sides that provides a beautiful train. I altered mine to be shorter because the original train was ridiculously puffy and long, and I wanted it to be less princess-like. My alterations person said it would’ve been very simple to make the cape portion detachable but I wanted to keep it the whole time so mine is still fully attached.
The back of the dress is open in the back, which is a wonderful contrast to the high neckline in the front. It is a square opening in the back, but the way the straps work is that they are thick enough to cover up any back rolls you might have and it only exposes the most flattering portion of your back. There are lovely exposed buttons on the back as well and I love that feature.
